Designs

We have put our designs into five categories: -

• Traditional and Modern Wedding Cakes
Wedding cakes created in traditional or modern style. Tiers are available in a Circle or Square shape and sizes range from 4” up to 12”. We also make individual miniature wedding cakes.

• Traditional Celebration Cakes
Celebration cakes for all occasions created in the traditional style including Christenings, Birthdays, Barmitzvahs, Engagements, Anniversaries, Corporate events, Retirement and New Year.

• Novelty
Modern and ornate cake designs using complex shapes, detailed character models, special features and detailed landscapes, for all celebrations and occasions.

• Cupcakes
Cupcakes can be used together to make up one large wedding or celebration cake or can be decorated to accompany a cake we are specifically making for you.

• Bespoke

Occasions

We create cakes for any occasion including Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Barmitzvahs, Graduation, Engagements, Anniversaries, Corporate Events, Sporting Events, Hen Nights, Retirement, Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Adult parties and Community Events.

Types of cake

Sponge Cakes:-

• Vanilla Sponge Cake
A delicate, firm and moist Vanilla sponge cake in a Madeira style with a butter cream and jam filling, handmade and baked to the highest quality.

• Chocolate Sponge Cake
A delicate, firm and moist Chocolate sponge cake with a chocolate butter cream filling, handmade and baked to the highest quality.

All our sponge cakes can be made without eggs, gluten free, nut free or milk free if required.

Fruit Cakes:-

• Medium fruit cake
A moist and delicious, medium fruited country style cake, handmade and baked to the highest quality.

• Rich fruit cake
A luxurious, moist and richly fruited cake typically laced with Brandy or Rum, handmade and baked to the highest quality.

Our fruitcake can be made without using alcohol on request.

Cupcakes
A delicate, firm and moist cupcake sized Vanilla or Chocolate sponge cake.

Cake Sizes

Our sponge cakes and medium fruit cakes come in a square or round shape and range from 8” up to 16”. We can also make 4" and 6" sizes for sponge or medium fruit wedding cakes.

Wedding cake sizes:
You can mix and match any number of tiers that you need to make up your wedding cake. If you have a specific wedding cake budget, a set number of guests or are just unsure of the size of cake you may need, then contact us and we can help you correctly choose the number of tiers you will need to ensure that every guest receives a portion whilst staying within your budget.
We can also make individual miniature wedding cakes or cupcakes decorated to match and compliment your wedding cake.

Decoration

Our normal celebration sponge cakes are typically covered with a base of sugar fondant.and decorated using soft icing or Royal icing as required. Our sponge wedding cakes are covered with mazipan and decorated using soft icing or Royal icing as required.

Our medium fruit cakes and rich fruit cakes are typically covered marzipan and decorated using soft icing or Royal icing as required.

All of our cakes are decorated by hand using soft icing or Royal icing and include an inscription of your choice.
Our figurines, models and other decorations are handcrafted using marzipan, sugar fondant or Royal icing. Some of our cakes may contain materials that are not edible, we will tell you if the cake that you have chosen has inedible materials whilst you are placing your order.
